Deer hunting and hunter scents:
Many a hunter has tried to cover up human scents by wearing expensive clothes to eliminate scents that may or may not affect deer hunting. There are
many opinions about scents and deer hunting. According to some of our deer hunter sources, they have used expensive hot suits that eliminate the human scent and never saw a deer. Other deer hunters have claimed they wiped the gas off their hands and the
grease from their bacon and egg biscuit on their pants while in the woods and still killed a deer! At this point the scent research will have to be left up to the deer hunters! We welcome any feedback.

Wearing scents to attract deer:
Our hunting sources say that estrus doe urines will attract all the bucks during the rut but may scare away does that are not in heat. There is a
right time or season to use deer attracting scents. Hunters say that when does are not in estrus and the rut has not yet started, it is a mistake to use a doe estrus scent or a rutting buck scent.
Which type of scent?
It can take just a bit of any scent product to get the attention of deer.
Deer have a super sense of smell. The use of scents can be detrimental to hunting success if over used. Some hunters prefer scents from one animal and not scents that are "blends" from chemical excretions of various animals or man made
chemicals.
